About ME

What comes after you introduce yourself? Hope, miss B.A. in English Literature, Master’s in Learning Design & Technology, first-generation Nigerian-American, writer, learning experience designer, boxer, and overthinker turned storyteller. Too much?

I grew up as the youngest, with siblings MUCH older than me, sneaking into their rooms to “borrow” whatever they left behind… books, magazines, journals. I’d grab anything with words on it. Somewhere between the dog eared pages and late night reading sessions, I fell in love with stories and the way language can hold both truth and imagination at the same time.

This space is where I process life out loud. You’ll mostly find short stories, essays, journal entries, and the occasional brain dump about love, friendship, faith, boundaries, heartbreak, healing, boxing, and whatever else is tugging at my spirit that day. Some pieces are polished. Others show up mid-thought, mid-lesson, mid-“whew, that was a lot.”

By day, I design learning experiences and L&D programs for adults navigating work, change, and everything in between. If you’re looking for that side of me (the instructional designer and learning strategist) you’ll find her over at my LxD site: Hope for LXD (hopeforlxd.com).
BUT, THIS SITE that you are currently on is a little different. Think of it as my digital living room: shoes off, honesty on, stories everywhere.

If anything here makes you feel seen, less alone, or a little braver about telling your own story, then that’s enough for me.

Thanks for reading. Really. 💛
